Bunny Burrow Rescue's aim is to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome sick, dumped, injured, and homeless bunnies. There are so many bunnies in South Africa who need homes because of irresponsible breeding. Pet shops contribute to this irresponsibleness seeing as they support breeders and often misgender the bunnies which lead to more problems. Rescues all over South Africa are under a lot of strain because of this issue and funds aren't always readily available for vet bills and sterilizations. We sterilize all bunnies who pass through our rescue so that breeding doesn't happen. This is why Usagi & Me was created; to help the bunnies who pass through our rescue so that they are healthy and ready to be rehomed to a loving family.
